Steak Teriyaki paired with a fruity Zinfandel
Ideally from Napa Valley, CA region

1/4 c. olive oil
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. honey
1 large clove of garlic, pressed
2 tab. rice vinegar
1 small onion, mined
2 tab. fresh ginger, grated or minced
1 lb. flank steak or sirloin

Mix all ingredients except steak. Place steak in a large zip-lock bag and add marinade. Push out as much air as possible and close. Store in refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight.

Broil for about 5 minutes on each side or to desired doneness. Carve in thin strips and serve with salad, rice, potatoes or your favorite vegetable side dish.
