Kate's Oven Free Cookies

My name is Kate, I am 14 years old. I love to cook. These cookies are easy to make. Not only are they easy to make, but the cleanup job goes quick. They taste great and parents like them because you can make them any time, because there is no need for the oven! In our house they are gone within a couple of days. Makes 4 dozen.

Ingredients:
2 cups white sugar
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup milk
1 pinch of salt
3 cups quick cooking oats
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
1. In a saucepan bring sugar, cocoa, margarine, milk, and salt to a rapid boil for 1 minute.

2. Add cooking oats, peanut butter, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

3. Working quickly drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper and let cool until hard enough to pick up like a cookie.

4. Enjoy!!
